Role Purpose

Due to an internal promotion, Aesop are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Online and Wholesale, ANZ with proven experience to join us full-time. This role will be operating with a hybrid working pattern, based at our global head office in Collingwood.

In this role, you will lead the Online and Wholesale teams delivering exceptional customer experiences across the ANZ Region. You will be responsible for driving the Wholesale business within Australia and New Zealand, including managing Department Stores, Travel Retail, Stockists, Amenities and Corporate Gifting.

As the Regional Lead for the online channel, the role is also responsible for driving the online growth strategy, roadmap, investments, channel mix and operational continuity.

Key responsibilities (not limited to)

  • Lead and grow the Aesop ANZ Wholesale and Online Channels and teams in line with our regional plans and aspirations
  • Revise and implement the ANZ Online and Wholesale Strategy and Go-To Market Plans, in line with the goals of the ANZ business including new business development
  • Full P&
    Ls ownership for ANZ Online (including third party digital) and Wholesale (Stockists, Amenity Accounts and Corporate Gifting), Travel Retail and Department Stores, including the accurate forecasting of sales revenue, expenses, and EBITDA
  • Collaborate with Regional and Global Aesop teams to ensure constant alignment of Online and Wholesale Channels to commercial and brand aspirations
  • Build and grow relationships with partners through regular contact and communication
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of these channels including but not limited to - Online Customer Service, Online, Wholesale (Dept Stores, Stockists, Amenities), Travel Retail, Inventory and Operations, Account Management.
  • Provide weekly sales updates to all stakeholders (ANZ and Global) including KPIs, sales trends, key drivers of performance and actions being taken
  • Business case and lead change within the function to evolve for growth or to match scale

What we are looking for

  • Demonstrated leadership of a diverse and high performing team
  • Strong account management abilities and proven experience in partnering with some of ANZ's biggest Department Stores, Online Resellers and Duty-Free Partners
  • Deep expertise growing Online and Wholesale Channels by way of sales and also operational excellence
  • Proven track-record of process improvement and change management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and drive outcomes by engaging and building effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels, across multiple organisations
  • Highly effective communicator, able to show empathy, active listening while being assertive and focussing on interests of the Brand and its employees
  • Resilient, independent, and tenacious individual with the ability to operate effectively as part of the Retail leadership team
