Who we are looking for:


A Head of Marketing to work closely with the leadership team in Sydney and the Global Head of Brand Marketing to further develop our marketing function and ensure strategic alignment and marketing excellence in all customer communications.


The Head of Marketing will lead on brand strategy work streams, to ensure that our marketing is representative with the business ambition in Australia.

Activating the marketing strategy through all media channels, whilst developing partnerships and implementing a comprehensive marketing campaign, which will form a significant part of the role.


Preferred skills and experience:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to use a range of communication styles and methods to engage audiences of different types and levels.
  • Experienced in media buying and strategy management across a variety of channels, especially TV and Digital.
  • Excellent creative judgement skills with the ability to develop innovative solutions to marketing challenges.
  • Data literate and KPI focused with the ability to determine the correct measurement metrics for business, brand and marketing activity.
  • Understands how to activate brand strategy and ensure media value in all partnerships, sponsorships and content.
  • Experienced in developing, executing and analysing multichannel brand marketing campaigns for the optimisation of brand health and direct response.
  • An acute understanding of how to transform a range of objectives, research and insight into briefs and marketing plans.
  • Experience of working within a large, fastpaced and complex organization at a senior level with the ability to Influence, collaborate and have a proactive approach.
  • Experienced at managing creative and media agencies for optimised outcomes.
  • Demonstrable experience of leading and developing team members for improved performance, collaboration, ways of working and team satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Establishing, aligning and executing the Brand Marketing plan with clear objectives and evaluation.
  • Driving business growth in Australia for bet365 through marketing activation in a complex and heavily regulated environment.
  • Leading, developing and inspiring a small team of Brand Marketing professionals.
  • Evolving and adapting the brand strategy in Australia through 360, industryleading marketing campaigns across all customer interactions and touchpoints.
  • Leading on media buying and strategy across all channels including TV, Digital, Radio and other ATL media.
  • Building strong alignment and close working practices with partners and agencies, setting direction, clear strategy, creative excellence and KPI measurement.
  • Developing close relationships and regular collaboration with internal stakeholders enabling the delivery of business objectives through improved Brand Marketing strategy, integrated communications and creative.
  • Implementing improved ways of working and marketing process with key strategic hubs across bet365's global marketing team.
  • Implementing research and insight work streams to optimise brand strategy and improve customer engagement in propositions.
  • Managing a large marketing budget ensuring sound and strategic investment planning and streamlined accounting/payment processes.
