The Company

Our client is a pioneer in the domain of in-home care &
nursing. They are supporting more than 5000 clients across Melbourne and Sydney. The company is an established and trusted organisation in the local community, offering tailored services for individuals and families.

The Role

The Head of IT role will report to the CTO of the company and will drive innovative IT projects within the organisation.

  • Handle the migration of the current systems from a third-party provider to an internal Azure solution.
  • Create the tenancy and migrate the active directory. Migrate the entire file system into SharePoint.
  • Establish appropriate groups and figure out a way of managing these ongoing.
  • Move the current DBs onto local VMs.
  • Establish a support function and establish a support and escalation process.
  • Work on the Cybersecurity policies and penetration testing. Create a list of remediating actions, plus phishing tests to entrap local users.
  • Define the policies given to external IT auditors.
  • Control and review current licensing and identify the improvements for external products.
  • Manage timeline and efficiently communicate deadlines and project advancement with C-suite Stakeholders.
  • Set up the SharePoint system as an intranet solution.
  • Handle ad-hoc projects like migrating from Zoom to Teams.
  • Handle hardware management.

Your Profile

  • Experience managing large and critical migration projects.
  • Experience defining Cybersecurity policies.
  • Good knowledge of Azure and AWS cloud environment.
  • Good knowledge of security, storage, and backup systems.
  • Experience in managing Service Desk and IT Support teams.
  • Project Management capabilities.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven record of implementing innovative IT solutions.
  • Ability to cooperate with C-suite and Senior management Stakeholders.
