About the role:

Join Hostplus as the Head of Insurance Operations and ServicePlus Centre, where you'll be at the forefront of delivering exceptional service to our members, employers, investors, and claimants. Leading the claims team, your role involves providing strategic direction to ensure we are driving a market leader service, ensuring we have created culture and environment to adhere to a strong governing framework and structure.

You will have end to end responsibilities of driving the funds face to face servicing strategy which will provide a tailored solution to all Hostplus member and employers.

Additionally, you will cultivate and manage external relationships with insurers and to ensuring contractual obligations are met and liaising with insurers to meet the funds claims expectations. Reporting is integral, with regular communication to management, data integrity checks, and analysis of the internal membership base to identify opportunities for servicing and distribution models. Your commitment to quality and servicing models, along with the accurate charging of insurance premiums, will be pivotal. About you:

As the ideal candidate for the Head of Insurance Operations and Service role, you bring a strong business acumen with a focus on understanding members' insurance needs, effective production planning, and solid administrative skills. Your excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, along with strong negotiation skills, are complemented by well-developed report writing skills. You excel in building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders. General competencies include staff engagement, supplier management, commitment to service excellence, exceptional problem-solving, and demonstrated proficiency in team management, project oversight, training activities, and budget management.
