Your New Role

This role leads the people and safety strategy and cultural transformation of Vistaprint in the ANZS region. The role is responsible for a broad range of strategic and operational HR deliverables for approximately 270+ people in Australia (Remote-First, Hybrid &
Onsite across 3 entities). A senior generalist role with a scope incorporating employee relations, talent development and management, performance management, and local policy development and implementation, ensuring alignment with the global organisation.

What You Will Do

Reporting to and business partnering with the VP, General Manager ANZS and supporting the Senior Leadership team to lead, design, develop and implement localised HR strategies for the region, aligned to the global organisation.

Leading a team of 4 x HR Professionals and one Safety Lead to support the people leaders across the 3 business entities based in Australia.

Team Experience &
Engagement:

  • Design, develop and lead the team engagement strategy for Vista ANZS
  • Own the strategy for employee engagement improvement, working with the VP, General Manager ANZS and the ANZS LT to drive strategic initiative to lift engagement across the business
  • Lead &
    drive continuous improvement when it comes to team experience &
    satisfaction

Talent Management

  • Lead the strategy for the region on talent development of our team based in Australia including training &
    development, talent reviews &
    succession planning at all levels
  • Support talent acquisition activity as required relating to roles located in Australia and supporting line managers with roles in other locations (India, Tunis &
    Philippines)

Learning &
Development

  • Lead &
    support the training &
    development planning strategy for team members and people leaders in the region
  • Coach &
    support people leaders as neededwith approach to 360 learning platform &
    LinkedIn Learning

ER/IR:

  • Coach, advice &
    support VP, General Manager ANZS and the Senior Leadership on all team related performance and conduct matters in the region
  • Provide people leaders with support and advice on relevant legislation for the ANZS region as needed
  • Lead policy review and implementation through collaboration across the region (for all 3 entities) and advice people leaders on organisational policy and initiatives
  • Lead the Enterprise Agreement negotiation process to support the Plant Director at the Deer Park manufacturing site
  • Lead expert on the Vista Enterprise Agreement and application of it's clauses, liaise with people leaders, employees, HR advisors, finance and payroll functions as necessary in supporting agreement interpretation
  • Lead the region's wellbeing strategy in collaboration with business partners across the 3 entities
  • Business Partner with the Plant Director &
    Safety Lead to design, develop and manage the safety &
    sustainability strategyfor Vista ANZS manufacturing site

  • Partnering with the wider business to lead, support and drive the DEI initiatives in the region, especially localising it to suit the team based in Australia
  • Lead the regional data, analysis and strategy for government bodies, such as WGEA

People Projects:

  • Collaborate with the wider People team in Australia, Global Teams, HRIS team, Compensation team on all people-related initiatives &
    projects as necessary
  • Connect and interact with global counterparts to ensure the region is aligned to global organisational strategies

  • Significant experience in the field of Human Resources, within a global environment
  • Demonstrates a generalist background in all human resources management domains
  • Significant experience in leading safety in a manufacturing/FMCG environment
  • Professional knowledge of legislation and regulations in industrial relations
  • Strong influential skills providing the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Degree in HR, Business or a related field (Masters in HRM highly regarded)
  • Proficient with Google suite and Microsoft office Word, Excel and Power point
  • Exposure to Agile methodology
  • Industry experience in eCommerce and /or Manufacturing
