You will have the freedom to add value and efficiencies to the finance function, while working collaboratively with our CEO, Partners and Senior Managers to drive the financial performance of the firm and to help deliver on business growth and achieve strategic outcomes.
Leading the finance team you will be responsible for the development of financial and management reporting, budgets, strategic planning and forecasting, while ensuring the delivery of regulatory and statutory compliance requirements.

Responsibilities
You will take ownership and responsibility over the finance function, including but not limited to:

• manage/ oversee all accounts and financial statement preparation;
  
• manage, mentorand supervise the finance team to ensure required outcomes are achieved;
  
• prepare financial and management reporting, analysis and other adhoc requirements for the CEO and Board;
  
• manage budgeting processes, modelling and forecasting, providing meaningful insights to CEO;
  
• work with the Practice Heads to drive productivity and utilisation within the various practice groups;
  
• work with the Shared Services management team to deliver financial information as and when required;
  and
• maintain and implement best practice process and lead on finance projects.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will have:

• a relevant degree and be CA or CPA qualified;
  
• a minimum of 8 years practical experience in a commercial business, preferably in a professional services environment;
  
• a high level ofbusiness acumen, with a strategic mindset and demonstrated business partnering and influencing skills;
  and
• advanced Excel skills, with experience using Aderant Expert desired.

In addition, you will:

• have excellent leadership and decision-making skills;
  
• be an enthusiastic and personable team player, with a collaborative leadership style;
  and
• have outstanding interpersonal skills, with superior attention to detail.
