Head of Faculties - Warwick, Australia - The Scots PGC College

Description The Head of Faculty - Humanities is a key middle leadership role and has become
vacant due to the retirement of a long-standing member of staff.
The Head of Faculty will lead a dedicated team of educators and oversee the
curriculum and assessment within the faculty. The role also contributes to the
enhancement of pedagogical practice across our P-12 school.
This is a full-time position to commence in January 2024.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• A passion for working with children.
• A demonstrated ability to create and maintain positive, professional

relationships with students, parents and colleagues.

• A demonstrated ability to lead a team of educators dedicated to supporting our

learners.

• Experience in establishing a safe, supportive and nurturing learning

environment that extends beyond the classroom.

• A commitment to the pastoral care and wellbeing of each student.
• A detailed understanding of the processes and requirements of the Australian

Curriculum and the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority.

• The ability to teach Senior Geography and/or Modern History.
• A strong commitment to the holistic nature of education at an independent

school.

• The ability to be registered as a teacher in Queensland.
