We have partnered with a rapidly growing software company making a positive difference in the world. We're searching for a passionate and experienced Technical Director to join the leadership team.
This role offers the flexibility to work mulitple days per week from home, while also collaborating with the broader team on site in our newly fitted Melbourne CBD Office.
In this role, you'll:
Lead a high-performing team of 5+ engineers (scalable to 15) responsible for developing core product features.
Collaborate closely with the CTO and Head of Product to define technical strategy and roadmap.
Foster a culture of excellence, ensuring best coding practices for clean, secure, and scalable code.
Be a hands-on technical leader, capable of diving into code and problem-solving alongside your team.
Operate with autonomy and resourcefulness, prioritizing effectively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
You're the ideal candidate if you possess:
Proven experience as a software engineering leader with a strong technical background.
A passion for building high-quality, maintainable software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to inspire and motivate your team.
The ability to manage competing priorities and thrive in a dynamic environment.
A self-starting and resourceful approach to problem-solving.
