What's your role?

The Head of Digital Product plays a key role in defining how enterprise digital products will enable our people and customers to thrive in an evolving digital world and bring our Bupa APAC ambition to life. The role is to create, run and evolve reusable Digital Products that support key customer and practitioner interactions across Bupa and our partner ecosystem to accelerate pace, agility, and growth in creating seamless connected experiences.

This is both a strategic and hands-on delivery role - as an accomplished change agent and practitioner of product led ways of working, you will be enthusiastic about systems change and pioneering mature change and run of complex, enterprise product outcomes.

What will your day involve?

In this exciting newly created opportunity, you will be responsible for:

  • Accountable for the product development lifecycle (definition, development, adoption, and operationalisation) of enterprise digital products that are leveraged across Bupa APAC to accelerate our maturity, operational efficiency, and speed-to-market. While digital products will change, examples of these today are:
    1. Digital Identity - Adoption, experience, and usage growth of identity services across Bupa's customer and provider base.
    2. Consent - The responsible and ethical governance of consent practices across Bupa, including adherence to best practice codes of conduct, regulatory frameworks, and alignment to Bupa Values via Enterprise Digital Consent Management services that will be leveraged across all Bupa APAC business units.
  • Partner with key stakeholders and teams across Bupa to shape and own enterprise digital product roadmaps, while maturing our enterprise digital product platforms by building resiliency and scalability
  • Lead the delivery of Digital Product roadmaps
  • Accountable for the management of product value drivers and commercial impact targets including the operational performance of products, customer and growth outcomes, cost management, compliance management and operational risk
  • Responsible for the management and development of a high-performing enterprise Digital Product team.

What will you bring?

  • 8+ years' experience leading Digital Product in a complex organisation.
  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications, relevant product or industry qualifications or extensive professional experience in contemporary product management.
  • Strong understanding and experience in Product led, agile delivery methodologies and toolsets, with minimum 3+ years of working in projects applying Agile techniques.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, digital savvy, curious and interested in digital transformation.
  • A strategic thinker with an ability to focus on the whole system and consider the interconnections and interdependencies within it.
  • Strong commercial acumen balanced with an intuitive understanding of the customer and consumer behaviour.
  • Exceptional communication skills and capacity to synthesize the complex into simple translatable concepts at all levels of the organisation.
