Oxenford State School are seeking an experienced and highly capable curriculum leader for the role of Head of Department (Curriculum) on temporary full-time basis from 08 July 2024 until 13 December 2024, unless otherwise determined.
This person will have astrong curriculum and pedagogical knowledge along with well developed strategic thinking and analytical skills to contribute to our school improvement agenda and to develop productive positive relationships between students, staff and the wider school community.

About the Role

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the implementation of curriculum provisions and related whole school programs to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
  • Lead the implementation of whole school approach to pedagogy.
  • Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
  • Set high standards for student and staff performance.
  • The applicant will have a teaching load.
