Toowoomba Grammar School is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our School as the Head of Cricket.

About Toowoomba Grammar School
Toowoomba Grammar School was founded in 1875.

It is an independent non-denominational day and boarding school for boys with a total enrolment of 1,200 from Preparatory to Year 12.

There are approximately 300 boarders in the School coming predominantly from throughout Queensland, Northern New South Wales and the Northern Territory.

The School's campus covers 20.5 hectares and is located one kilometre from the centre of Toowoomba.

About the Position


The Toowoomba Grammar School Head of Cricket will provide leadership and direction to TGS Sport and Activity programs within the Sport Department of the School.

The Head of Cricket is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the cricket program within the School.

This position requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of cricket, and the ability to develop players' skills and foster a passion for the sport.

The Head of Cricket will work closely with students, staff, and external cricket organisations to ensure the successful implementation of the cricket program.


Selection Criteria:
You will be able to demonstrate your ability and commitment to:

  • deep passion for cricket and a thorough understanding of the game's rules, techniques, and strategies;

- extensive experience in coaching cricket, preferably at the school, club or representative level;
- strong leadershipskills and the ability to motivate and inspire players of varying ages and skill levels;
- managing competing priorities and deadlines in a high-volume work environment;
- ongoing personal and professional development.


You will hold a current Positive Notice (Blue Card) issued by the _Qld Commission for Children &
Young People_ and maintain current Senior First Aid Certification.
