Salary Range:
Up to $181,853. Package includes salary ($139,787 - $161,663), employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

The Role

The role is responsible for using design thinking to drive the strategy and design of innovative programs that meet NSW Ombudsman's Office objectives and goals.

The role will grow an effective practice of change and engagement to support change readiness and implementation across the business, whilst driving improved business strategy and outcomes.

Key to the role will be building and embedding human-centric and research-based design approaches to inform the development and delivery of new programs, technologies and ways of working.


About you

  • You are strong communicator. You are an engaging and accomplished professional with proven capabilities in consultation, collaboration and facilitation.
  • You are a strategic thinker. You can think ahead to what is likely to inform and influence decision-making and identify how long-term modelling can support better outcomes.
  • You are a leader. You are a people leader who engages and motivates their team and develops capability and potential in others.
  • You will have tertiary qualifications in business, project management, change management or communications, and/or relevant demonstrated working experience.
  • You have experience in leading change in NSW Government (highly desirable)
  • You have experience in human centred design (highly desirable)
