The Kitchen

There is a fully equipped band new commercial kitchen tailored to the delivery of fine dining experience. They will be looking to work with local suppliers to make sure the best produce is sourced locally.

The venue has 2 main areas:
the restaurant, which will focus on dinners, and the bar, which will provide share plates and more casual meals. It will be a 7-day per week operation as they have boutique accommodation, so the offering of breakfast lunch and dinner will be provided.

The Role

The client is looking for someone coming from a technical background moving up the ranks as a Sous into a Head Chef or a Head Chef wanting a change of scenery.

What the client is looking for:

• Hatted or similar experience preferred but not essential
• Someone who has a drive for excellence and wants to push the boundaries with cooking from local suppliers
• Good mentor or guidance with his team, problem solver and dynamic
• Experience cooking with wood fire and charcoal

The salary is up to $115K+Super+bonus structure, possible relocation package and short-term accommodation on offer for the right candidate. The preferred start date is within 4-6 weeks.
