When you join the multidisciplinary team in our Clinical Assessment Service (in Ipswich ), you're back in control. Integrated Urgent Care at Practice Plus Group provides urgent care via 111, Out-Of-Hours, GP and Clinical Assessment services on behalf for the NHS. Join us, and you'll be helping relieve some of the pressure on NHS Emergency services at a vital time.

This is the perfect chance to use and develop all your skills and expertise as a General Practitioner, providing diagnosis, treatment, advice and referrals to other healthcare resources, via the phone. You will also use our electronic prescribing system to effectively manage the patient.

Based in the dedicated Clinical Assessment Service (CAS) supporting our NHS 111 call centre, you'll be working autonomously within your sphere of competency as a lead clinician in a multi-skilled team.

What you'll be doing

What you will need:

  • GMC registration certificate and inclusion on the GP Performers List with a valid CCT.
  • Experience to confidently manage acute and chronic presentations for both adult and paediatric patients, with a proven ability to maintain and monitor high standards of care.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills, with experience of telephone assessment and good IT/keyboard skills.
