Job Description

• Act as a strategic advisor to business leaders, aiding in better business management
• Lead the Forecasting &
  Budgeting process for efficient financial planning
• Provide timely, accurate, and insightful financial information through value-added reporting
• Develop and implement key performance measures and trend analyses for improved transparency
• Challenge partners to grasp risks and opportunities, optimising overall performance
• Contribute significantly to the commercial development of the business through collaborations with senior management and external stakeholders
• Evaluate financial aspects of acquisitions, disposals, investments, and business proposals critically
• Assist in formulating and executing effective strategies
• Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting systems and analysis processes
• Collaborate with Controllership to ensure efficient working capital management and compliance with accounting standards
• Mentor and support the development of junior finance colleagues

The Successful Applicant

• CA or CPA qualified.
• Experience working within the Insurance Industry
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting and reporting standards including and IFRS17 &
  APRA.
• Excellent time management skills and strong Excel skills (Pivot tables, V Look up)
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, along with strong presentation skill
• Capable of complex financial analyses, including CBAs and financial modeling
• Proficient in utilising financial IT systems to deliver efficient services
