The company will fly you to your nearest airport and return each swing
Paid travel days with return flights provided
$20 private, subsided housing
Internet access
You are entitled to 6 weeks of annual leave per - leave loading of 17.5% will be paid when annual leave is taken
Location
You will be in the Northern Territory, based 500kms west of Alice Springs. The Northern Territory is a wonderful state, offering a unique blend of stunning landscapes, vibrant Indigenous cultures, and a rich history. It attracts adventure seekers, nature lovers, and those interested in experiencing Australia's diverse heritage. The territory is home to several national parks, such as Kakadu National Park, Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, and Litchfield National Park.
Your main duties
As a RAN, you will be working as part of the clinical team and delivering a thorough, patient-centred approach to primary health and integrated emergency care. Your duties will include:
The provision of general healthcare assessments and management of a broad range of clinical problems
Providing care to accident and emergency situations, including emergency first aid
Participating in a 24/7 on-call roster for after-hours care
Arranging pathology tests and other investigations according to needs
Liaising with the multidisciplinary team to work with chronic disease clients and plan their care as necessary
Delivering health education
To be eligible for the position, you must have the following:
Current registration with AHPRA, with no restrictions
National Crime Check or willingness to obtain
Working with Children's Check or willingness to obtain
A minimum of 3 years full time RN experience
Manual Driver's License and willing to travel by 4WD
