External Auditor - Leading Mid-Tier Accounting Firm

THE OPPORTUNITY
Our client is a leading mid-tier firm with offices in every capital city of Australia and approx 100 staff in the Brisbane office.They offer an exceptional work environment that fosters and focuses on employee engagement and job security resulting in a low-turnover environment! The teams operate on a flat-structure basis with a workflow system allowing employees to converse, learn and be exposed to Seniors, Managers, and Partners.
Due to continued client growth, they are seeking a motivated Intermediate Auditor to join their leading Audit team.

YOUR ROLE
Your client portfolio will consist of ASX listed clients, large national companies, not-for-profits, and private enterprise. You will work closely with the team Audit Manager and Partner, and you will complete all aspects of the audit process.

• Assist with the planning and preparation of an audit engagement.
• Conduct controls testing and standard audit activities.
• Ensure jobs are completed effectively and in a timely manner.
• Assist in preparing business reports and management letters for clients.
• Highlight key audit findings and highlight recommended actions.

ABOUT YOU

• 1 + years of public practice accounting experience in external Audit.
• Degree qualified minimum, working towards or completed CA or CPA qualifications an advantage but not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
