As the Executive Manager (Payments), you will build a credible and trusted profile across the business as the subject matter expert for Payments Risk. You will worth with stakeholders at all levels to provide ongoing expertise and insights to support effective payment risk management across the Group. This includes advice, oversight, challenge and reporting as well as enhancing the understanding of Payments and associated Operational Resilience across Westpac

Your key accountabilities will include:

  • Enterprise level Payments &
    associated Operational Resilience insight, oversight, challenge, and reporting.
  • Assist in the development of policies and guidance.
  • Drive standardisation of Group frameworks and enhance the understanding of Payments risk across the Group.
  • Perform operational risk and compliance reviews relating to payments across the Enterprise. This will capture controls, obligations and policies.
  • Taking a direct approach to support the benefits realisation and sustainable outcomes of the change initiatives across CPS 230 through effective stakeholder engagement, communication, training, business readiness and user adoption. Specifically focused on payment related activity.

What do I need?

You will bring proven detailed payments and associated resiliency knowledge in a similar role, including knowledge of the payments regulatory landscape. In addition, you will demonstrate detailed operational risk management experience. The role requires an Executive Manager, who demonstrates the ability to build trusted relationships with senior level stakeholders to influence and drive change. You will have strong organisational and prioritisation skills with excellent attention to detail.
