Reporting to the Deputy Secretary, People, Communication &
Workplaces, you will bean integral part of our newly established Division Leadership Team. In this critical role you will be the conduit between Transport for NSW, Ministerial Offices and Parliament. Engaging with senior stakeholders, you will define, lead and manage the future service delivery model for all these services for Transport for NSW. You will provide expert advice to support the strategic priorities aligned to government objectives.

You will be empowered to set the new branch's strategy, to centralise and define the intergovernmental service model whilst bringing the functions together and taking the team on the change journey. You will lead the reform to centralise all government and parliamentary services functions, designing more mature technology platforms to optimise Transport for NSW's work across government services.

You will lead and manage all services for government related business including areas such as parliamentary services, ministerial correspondence, inquiries and committee preparation and submissions, briefings and related customer requests. You will also be responsible for the management of all Government Department liaison officers.

This is a full-time ongoing Transport Senior Service Executive TSSE2A level role offering an attractive remuneration package.

You are a strategic and experienced people leader with significant experience providing ministerial liaison advice at a senior level within a large, complex organisation. You will also have a demonstrated understanding of the operation of executive government, including Cabinet Committee, ministerial briefings, parliamentary enquiries, budget processes and relevant legislation.

You are agile, forward thinking and highly adept at managing sensitive matters. As such, you have experience at a senior level in strategy setting, leading a portfolio or division and delivering outcomes. Supported by a high level of political nous, you will be skilled in balancing daily operations, reform and unplanned issues response with the broader, long-term objectives of the Department, government and other stakeholder interests. You will also have the leadership skills to shape and lead a team through change while maintaining strong service delivery.

You have the communication skills and gravitas to influence and build strong relationships with senior leaders across government and operate in a complex customer centric and fast-paced environment. Most importantly, you are passionate about delivering exceptional service to your stakeholders, supporting and enabling colleagues and teams to achieve outstanding outcomes for the organisation and for the people of NSW.
