About the Role

Dive deep into understanding, analysing, and proactively managing risks that challenge or impact our business goals.   • Partner with senior business leaders to provide risk management insight, understand risk appetite and grow business risk management capability.
  • Take accountability for the development &
    maintenance of EnergyAustralia's Enterprise Risk Management Framework
  • Ensure EnergyAustralia has a robust control framework for key processes that support the financials and systems with clearly assigned accountability. This will require ongoing review, testing and updating of controls.
  • Support the implementation of projects by providing advice on the internal controls impact of the activity (including Compliance)
  • Lead compliance assurance reviews and control testing to validate that controls are designed and operating effectively to mitigate compliance risks and prevent compliance failures. This includes the identification of systemic control deficiencies

How can you support the Energy Transition

  • Tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, information systems or another relevant degree
  • A minimum of 6 years' experience in a risk and controls management role
  • Experience in the execution of an Enterprise Risk Management, Compliance and Internal Controls framework.
  • The ability to influence and engage a diverse range of stakeholders in a variety of business issues.
