This is a full-time permanent position within our Engineering department. Primarily the successful applicant will work day shift, however there are times when working a rotating 4-shift roster is required.
You will be responsible for project work, scheduled and unscheduled breakdown maintenance and trouble shooting
Working within a team on both day work and 4 shift roster
Maintaining and improving existing systems
Fault finding and problem solving
Providing technical support to production personnel
Contributing to the continuous improvement to safety standards and systems
Flexibility to take on a broad role to support the team and needs of the plant
To be considered for this position you will have:
Certificate III in Electrotechnology (or higher)
A grade electrical licence
Demonstrated machine trouble shooting, problem solving and fault-finding experience
The ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team
