St Mark’s Child Care Centre is seeking an experienced ECT to work in our long day care and preschool service, and perhaps assist in our before and after school care service.

St Mark’s Child Care Centre is a community based centre providing a quality learning framework within a caring Christian environment. We have a 39 place Long Day Care and Preschool Service as well as a 72 place Out of School Hours Care Service, managed by a Committee of church and parent members.

We are located in Sydney’s west, close to shops and bus services.

The Role

We’re looking an experienced teacher to take a leadership role in our preschool and long day care centre, and perhaps take a role in our OSHC service. If you’re an experienced early childhood educator who can cover our Nominated Supervisor for leave periods and assist with the educational leader role, let us know whether you’d prefer full-time, part-time, specific days or specific hours and we can discuss how your skills, experience and availability will fit with our current team.

Selection Criteria

• 
  
• Early Childhood Teaching qualification with Teacher accreditation
  
• Current First Aid Certificate, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training
  
• Hold current ACECQA approved Child Protection training
  
• Working with children check clearance and number for verification
  
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to establish effective professional relationships
  
• Good oral and written communication skills
  
• Have the legal right to work in Australia
  
• Endorsement of our Statement of Faith, with a commitment to the provision of high-quality Christian education and care
  
• Experience in an early childhood education setting
