About the Role

Having embarked on a $40m+ construction of a new purpose-built facility which will include an Auditorium and the schools Performing Arts and Library Precincts we are looking for a theatre technician that is looking to expand their role and take on the responsibility of managing this new Centre.

We are seeking a suitably qualified technician to manage performance events within the theatre, providing effective sound and lighting to ensure optimum efficiency and success in the presentation of all productions, performances, practices and events. The Dream Now Centre Manager has comprehensive oversight of the facility including the booking, management of the assets and ongoing maintenance. The Centre manager will be the Theatre technician for School events and will appoint and oversee external contractors where required to assist them in delivering major events and performances.

This role is a fixed-term, full-time position with hours averaged over a 12-month period, including six weeks annual leave. Due to the nature of the role the successful candidate will be required to work flexible hours to suit theatre and music productions and event times, some of which will be in the evenings and on weekends.
