Key Responsibilities
As a District Nurse, you will play a crucial role as an essential team member in the multi-disciplinary setting, striving to uphold elevated nursing care standards within the community.
Your primary responsibility involves delivering comprehensive, in-home nursing care to patients - contributing to the District Nursing &
HITH (Hospital in the Home) department, an amicable and professional team that places a premium on teamwork and places significant importance on well-honed interpersonal skills.
Qualifications &
Certifications
Current registration with AHPRA, with no restrictions
National Crime Check
Working with Children's Check
Current Victorian Driver's License
Up-to-date immunisations including COVID-19
About You
At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in Community Nursing, Hospital in the Home and/or Post-Acute Care.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members.
Demonstrated critical thinking skills to prioritise care and make sound clinical judgements.
