Disability Service Officer

We are seeking a dedicated Disability Services Officer to join our team, providing full-time support within a single residential setting in the Greater Geelong region. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A Degree in Disability Studies, Human Services, Psychology, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience working with a diverse range of disabilities, demonstrating a strong ability to operate independently.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct support and care to residents with disabilities, enhancing their daily living and overall well-being.
• Assist with personal care tasks, meal preparation, and medication management.
• Execute tailored care plans and support individual goals to promote independence.
• Foster a nurturing environment that supports the safety and dignity of all residents.
• Encourage social interaction and community involvement.
• Maintain meticulous records of care provided and progress made.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
