General Summary:

This position will be responsible for managing Supply Chain and Operational Planning, Manufacturing and Assembly and Warehouse and Logistics.

Responsibilities:

  • Safety
    • Ensure safe operation of all manufacturing and warehouse facilities.
    • Champion safety improvement programs across all supply chain &
      manufacturing locations.
  • Develop companywide strategy as part of the executive leadership team to meet business objectives.
  • Develop and evolve a supply chain and manufacturing strategy to deliver the right product in the right place, at the right time, for the lowest total cost.

    • Support profitable growth by ensuring the accurate tactical planning of our operations
    • Manage warehouse activities including receipt of goods, storage, picking, packaging, dispatch, returns, and other requirements, ensuring alignment with ERP processes and accuracy of stock quantities and values.
    • Implement, lead, and manage the S&
      OP process, ensuring timely engagement of stakeholders and decisions that drive the business forward
    • Ensure all aspects of the process are timely, and engagement of stakeholders result in decisions and plans to drive the business forward.
    • Work the necessary teams and stakeholders to simplify and automate reporting and enhance the analytics of data to generate the right outcomes.
    • Facilitate smooth information flow from product review to demand review to operations review.
  • Establish and lead production and warehouse processes focusing on accurate, timely execution at the lowest cost, with a constant focus on efficiency and quality improvement.
  • Implement local improvement plans in line with business unit group strategy to support competitive advantage.
  • Lead team programs to develop new supply chain and manufacturing solutions leveraging technology and trends (AI, 3D printing, etc.).

  • Identify and develop key talent progression plans to create the next generation of leaders
  • Drive leadership team activities, behaviors, and programs as a Key Leadership Team member.
  • Ensure proper organization, staffing, skill development, and direction of the team with HR support.
  • Customer Focus
    • Optimize inventory and resource management and the high-quality fulfilment of customers' orders
    • Balance and improve metrics:
      customer on-time delivery, inventory, and transportation costs, collaborating with sales, project execution, production scheduling, and logistics.
    • Ensure optimal quality and cost in the production of finished goods, whether standardized high-volume products or specialized custom-produced products.
    • Focus on planning needs, costs, and technical requirements for producing goods to ensure accurate communication with current and potential customers
  • Interim Responsibilities
    • Oversee the Project Management function and drive strategic programs to improve project execution processes

Knowledge, Skills &
Abilities Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in logistics, procurement, supply chain management, business management, or a relevant field
  • Diversified and progressive work experience in procurement, order fulfilment, logistics, and/or supply chain systems with multiple international organisations in multinational environments
  • Strong leadership and proven ability to recruit, direct, train, and manage teams of personnel
  • Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts and continuous improvement efforts
  • Solution oriented with a high sense of quality, attention to detail, accuracy, efficiency, and meeting tight deadlines
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills with strong sense of client service
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, set priorities, and work in a team with diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Ability to work comfortably with Microsoft Office software, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with ERP or procurement/supply chain management software
  • Able to see the big picture and thinks about the long-term effects of actions. Takes part in development of strategy
  • Adopts practical approach through solutions/improvements for problem solving and comes with adequate alternatives
  • Demonstrate metric improvements through strong strategy development and deployment skills, credibility across functions

Key Performance Indicators KPIs :

  • Ensures achievement of established targets through oversight and definition of improvement actions as needed. Focuses on achievement of operating cash flow, inventory (MTPT targets), project on-time and on-cost, on-time delivery and cost reduction
  • Delivers operational/project targets (e.G. DIFOT, lead time, quality, etc.) to improve net promoter score (NPS). Ensures that manufacturing resources implement improvements that address issues identified through customer complaint and other voice of the customer initiatives
  • Drives programs and owns metrics to reduce attrition, improve employee engagement and foster company collaboration

Safety:

Implements Health, Safety &
Environment (HSE) and business compliance standards and regulations within the units. Ensures a safe working environment, and continuous improvement in HSE process and integrity performance
