RESPONSIBILITIES

Developbusiness leads for the Hotel utilizing sales activity targets and action plans forboth long- and short-term goals, account prospects and site inspections toqualified potential business streams.

Developand coordinate sales selling cycle and methodology.

Understandthe business strategy and position of The StandardX, Melbourne, Fitzroy and beable to effectively articulate the positioning in the marketplace.

Performmonthly reviews on account profiles on room nights production and average rate.

Monitorcompetitors' rate strategy, account penetration and marketing activities tomaintain a competitive edge.

Assumefull responsibility of accounts under his/her management to achieve financialand non-financial objectives, including contracting, updating profile andrenewing contracts.

Up-sell,cross-sell and promote Hotel facilities &
services at every availableopportunity in order to maximize sales revenue.

AttendHotel clients and local community business events to network and maintain highvisibility.

Updatemanagement and other departments on VIP arrivals, meet and greet accordingly.

Participateand take accountability for the annual budget process, weekly and monthlyforecasting.

Attendtrade shows, key clients' events, FAM trips and sales trip as planned,submitted and approved.

EXPERIENCE

vivid, dynamic, and engaging. You'll intrinsically understand the unique microcosm and the context of our venues and city you represent.

  • Minimum 5 years hospitality experience in a Hotel sales capacity
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Suite and Hotel CRM and PMS skills
  • Experience in strategic planning, contracting, negotiating and execution.
  • Excellent communication and rapport building skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with multiple stakeholders and outsourced providers to ensure that our business objectives are met.
  • This is an autonomous role which will fit a go-getter that is always trying to take the Hotel to the next level.
