This position is for one Term (Term 3, 2024) to cover a period of leave, it is a 0.80 FTE with no dedicated Teaching load. This role would suit someone who has the relevant qualifications, knowledge and/or experience in the student engagement and wellbeing space.
About the role
The Director of Student Engagement &
Experience is responsible for:
- Enhancing student engagement experience across all campuses with an emphasis on wellbeing, coaching and transitions.
- Managing student transitions between campuses and student leadership scope and sequence.
- Establishing a strong coaching culture and programs for students at GGS.
- Supporting families and staff with escalated student wellbeing matters.
- Fostering meaningful engagement opportunities that challenge, support, and empower students to be leaders on Campus, in the community and beyond.
- Leading the Careers, Positive Education and First Nations teams.
About you
This opportunity will suit someone who has previous experience implementing institution-wide engagement programs with exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills.
You will have a current VIT registration, First Aid qualifications and current Anaphylaxis Management Accreditation.
This position will require the ability to work across all campuses.
