An exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Director of Nursing to join the team at the Bundaberg Hospital within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 225,000 residents including several rural communities.

Eligible Applicants who move to Queensland from an interstate or international jurisdiction to take up permanent or temporary greater than 12 months employment may receive up to $20,000 incentive payments under the Queensland Health Workforce Attraction Scheme

Your opportunity:

• The Director of Nursing has the authority to manage the human and financial resources of the Patient Flow/Nursing Workforce, Bundaberg Hospital in accordance with the delegations of the position and the approved policies and procedures.
• Manage the operational delivery of clinical services for Patient Flow/Nursing Workforce, Bundaberg Hospital.
• Apply well developed clinical knowledge and skills to contribute to the strategic direction of the Patient Flow/Nursing Workforce, Bundaberg Hospital and to provide authoritative counsel to stakeholders.

Our offer:

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $198,959 p.A., comprising salary of $174,378 p.A., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 11) (Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.F.)
