We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate leader to join our team as the Director of Aged Care Services! At MDHS we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our elderly residents. In this role, you will be responsible for the operational leadership of Maryborough District Health Services three Residential Communities facilities, and professional leadership and responsibility of the geriatric nursing and allied health teams. In collaboration with the Director of Nursing at Avoca and Dunolly, the role is responsible for ensuring the provision of quality care and managing the clinical and financial performance of Aged Care.

We are looking for someone with the following qualities:

  • AHPRA registration, with a Post-Graduate qualifications, preferably in Gerontology
  • Experience at a senior management level in health, preferably in the aged care sector
  • In depth knowledge of relevant legislation, standards and accreditation framework policies

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

Qualifications:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Post Graduate Qualifications preferably Gerontology.

Technical/Professional Knowledge and skills

  • Demonstrated experience at a senior management level in health preferably in the aged care sector
  • In depth knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, accreditation framework and policies
