As Finance Director you will:

- Deliver financial management services aligned with the objectives of the department.
- Support efficient, effective and economical delivery of financial management services.
- Build upon a trusted governance environment demonstrating accountability and transparency and instilling confidence with internal and external stakeholders.
- Design and deploy administratively efficient service delivery models which are continually assessed and led by existing/future business needs to achieve maximum net benefit.
- Seek out modern systems and processes to optimise "
Value for money"
derived from the investment made by the department in financial management services.
- Deliver to a clearly defined and agreed upon set of services and service standards operating under a performance framework.
- Continually assess and mature the department's financial control environment to enhance stakeholder confidence in financial management services delivered.
- Partner with stakeholders ensuring the ongoing success of financial management services delivered and maximise the how these services support broader departmental objectives.
- Pace, responsiveness, and an open willingness to reform and innovate.
- Leadership of the department's budget and statutory reporting cycle.
- Build upon a positive workplace culture that attracts and retains a high performing team and supports the strengths and further development of individual team members.
