The Director, Command Centre will perform an integral role in the QAS ICT servicedelivery model and provides strong leadership and expertise for the operationalsupport of ICT enabled business solutions for the QAS.
The role leads and managesthe successful delivery of the ICT Command Centre, which will integrate and operatewith various ICT Service providers, both government and commercial. This positionwill provide leadership to ICT operations ensuring the management processes ofService Operations, Service Transition, and Service Design/Assurance are deliveredeffectively.
Demonstrated high-level ICT Service Management skills and experience, with a proven record of achieving successful and effective outcomes that are aligned with organisational objectives within a large, complex and geographically diverse service delivery organisation.
Proven ability to lead the processes of Incident, Problem and Change management and manage the impact of unplanned incidents.
Proven ability to lead, manage and nurture multiple multi-disciplinary specialist teams and the development of successful enterprise solutions that are responsive to customer needs and sustainable in a large, complex organisational environment.
Strong negotiation, consultation, facilitation and written and oral communication skills, with the proven ability to develop effective working and strategic relationships and partnerships with a wide variety of senior internal and external stakeholders in an overall environment of change and evolution.
Sound knowledge of, or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of QAS ICT strategies, architectures, formal project management approach and formal reporting framework and their impact on QAS delivery in Queensland.
Demonstrated commitment to implement practices which promote a fair and ethical workplace, employment equity, cultural diversity and occupational health and safety.
