Details:
We are seeking a talented, driven self-starter to lead the Agriculture, Biosecurity &
Invasive Species team in the Resilient Landscapes branch to shape the strategic direction of agriculture and food production in the ACT and represent the ACT in shaping the national agenda. In this role you will work closely with those directly supporting ACT farmers in sustainable agriculture and productivity. You will provide advice to EPSDD executives and to the Minister to support participation in national agriculture meetings.

Eligibility/Other requirements:
A sound knowledge of biosecurity and agriculture issues nationally and within the ACT, and tertiary qualifications in biological, agricultural, natural resource and/or environmental science/policy, or related disciplines are highly desirable.

This is a temporary position available immediately to 20 June 2025.Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
