CR Digital is seeking two Digital Support Engineers with a strong understanding of computer networks, based in Goodna, Brisbane and available to travel frequently to customer sites. Joining a close-knit team, you'll ideally have an interest in mining engineering, software and IoT products;

This role provides a high level of technical support (Tier 3) for our CR Digital product range that is engaging, responsive and focused on delivering an exceptional customer experience.

What you'll get to do:

  • Provide remote and on-site support for CR Digital products and solutions
  • Rapid problem diagnosis and issue resolution for our customers
  • Plan and conduct regular maintenance and remote support activities
  • Configuration, QA and commissioning of new systems and products
  • Assist with development and functional requirements of CR Digital Products
  • Maintain accurate work records and activity summary reports
  • Collaborate with Development, Onsite Technicians, Product Management and Sales to resolve critical product issues, develop solutions to minimise cycle time for problem resolution, and make improvements for future releases.
  • Attend sites to provide technical support, training and resolve technical problems

What we're looking for

  • Degree qualified in IT, Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronic or Software disciplines) or physical sciences
  • Experience developing and mentoring technical support teams, and liaising directly with customers
  • SQL database experience and knowledge of computer networks preferable
  • Previous experience working with mathematical models, data analysis and database interactions
  • Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills complemented with strong written and verbal communications, customer-service focus and learning mindset
  • Desire and availability to travel within QLD and WA regions

Your strengths:

  • Strong understanding of applied technologies, including IoT, electronics, software, data bases, radio communications and networking
  • Aptitude for mechanical, digital systems and dc voltage systems
  • Strong understanding of IP networks, server architecture, routers, VPNs, and Vlans
  • SQL database familiarity and knowledge of AZURE server setup and configuration
  • Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail and a methodical, deliberate approach to troubleshooting
  • Strong ability to visualize systems and communicate with remote technicians during troubleshooting
