We are partnering with aMelbourne-basedindependent Perfomance Marketing Agencyon the lookout for a new Digital Account Director.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Title:
Digital Account Director
Location:
Melbourne - multiple WFH days/week
Base salary circa$120k to $140k + super
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead client relationships, presentations, and performance reviews to review campaign results, discuss strategic recommendations, and identify new growth opportunities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key client accounts, building and maintaining strong client relationships through regular communication, strategic guidance, and effective problem-solving.
- Oversee the execution of digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including but not limited to search engine marketing (SEM), META Ads, TikTok Ads.
- Lead a team of digital marketing professionals, including account managers and specialists, to develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies that align with client objectives and drive business growth.
- Work alongside analytics talent to analyse large data sets and provide clear actionable insights/learnings/recommendations for increased results.
- Leverage understanding of psychological principles &
consumer behaviour to help develop high-performing creative assets. - Detailed analysis of market trends, media investment and identify which channels/networks are delivering a better ROI.
- Manage, communicate and present project deliverables, timelines, expectations, goals and milestones to internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and pursue profitable growth opportunities in existing client portfolios.
ABOUT YOU:
- Min 8+ years digital experience within agency.
- A strong background and understanding of digital media (Search &
Social). - Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and strategies to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Analytical and problem solver mindset. Enjoys working with data to develop actionable insights.
- Ability to build deep, genuine relationships and guide holistic performance marketing strategy (Digital, creative, ATL).
- Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making, and the ability to analyze and interpret data insights to drive campaign optimization and performance
- Genuine passion for the digital marketing and the power of the platform for advertising success.
- Be able to use their initiative, be dependable and able to take extreme ownership.
- Ability to maintain strong attention to detail while multi-tasking and reprioritising a changing workload.
- Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint along with basic math skills.
- Strong ability to build internal and external relationships.
- Detailed analysis using large data sets.
- High quality organisation and prioritisation skills.
- Strong ability to understand numbers and optimise media campaigns
