About the Role:

The position of Drilling &
Completions (D&
C) Finance Business Partner is responsible for the financial aspects of D&
C activity throughout the Woodside E&
P lifecycle. The incumbent should provide insights that drive efficient cost management and resource allocation while also striving to develop sustainable Finance processes that meet D&
C management needs.
Duties &
Responsibilities:

• Ensure full compliance with SOX controls.
• Cost management for D&
  C campaign.
• Accruing monthly well costs in accounting system in line with drilling reporting and then reviewing results against plan.
• Contract reviews for D&
  C campaigns (rig/vessels).
• Half and Year End D&
  C lease and commitment reporting.
• Embedded derivative reviews for D&
  C contracts.
• Cost tracking against AFE and well cost estimates to prepare accurate monthly accruals.
• Prepare quarterly forecasts with cost controller and annual budget for D&
  C activities.
• Completion of well reconciliations (e.G. mud, cement, casing, completion materials, fuel) - currently being transitioned to cost control team.
• Monitor, allocation and close out of campaign accounts.
• Maintain appropriate reporting &
  analysis to enable decision-makers to discharge their responsibilities.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders.
• Continuous improvement to improve the delivery of financial services and processes to meet business requirements and shift emphasis from historic review to performance management.

Skills &
Experience:

• Completed a recognised Accounting qualification.
• Member or Associate of a recognised accounting body.
• At least five years working experience in an accounting environment.
• Experience in oil and gas industry and/or D&
  C environment is an advantage.
