What You'll Do

  • Implement technology and system controls aligned with our Cyber Security roadmap
  • Provide recommendations for adjustment/improvements to the Cyber Security roadmap
  • Maintain and manage EDR and email security platform, including responding to security alerts
  • Implement email security best practices (e.G., DKIM, DMARC, SPF) across domains
  • Collaborate with our Cloud Engineer for security controls across cloud platforms
  • Implement and maintain health/security monitoring and alerting platform in collaboration with our Cloud Engineer
  • Stay updated on emerging threat landscape and security best practices
  • Manage organisation's cyber security risk
  • Deliver reports on security statistics, roadmap milestones, and emerging threats to executive leadership
  • Write and maintain security-related policies
  • Provide recommendations for enhancing data handling and security processes (including PII, payment card information, PCI data)
  • Assist vendor and insurer with security incident response
  • Conduct synthetic phishing and awareness training
  • Review access methods for key systems and implement more secure access frameworks
  • Audit effectiveness of implemented controls and provide improvement recommendations

What You've Got

  • Minimum 5+ years in IT
  • 2+ years experience with Azure Cloud Services and/or Cyber Security
  • Hands on experience with implementing ASD Essential 8 security controls
  • Hands on experience with security tools and technologies, including, Firewalls, endpoint security, DLP, SIEM and vulnerability management solutions
  • Demonstrable experience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Security and Microsoft Purview
  • Understanding and experience with disaster recovery implementation/testing highly desirable
  • Experience working with on-premisesand cloud infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of risk management frameworks
  • Proactive, ability to work autonomously, with a sense of urgency and a positive can-do attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Well organised planner who works well under timeline pressures.
  • Proven ability to build and manage relationships with different stakeholders
  • A burning desire to show what you've got and what heights you can take the business!
