Tyro are looking for a Customer and Product Marketing lead for a 12-month fixed term contract. In this role y ou will be accountable for blending Product Marketing and Customer Marketing to shape the direction, culture, and vision of our Marketing Department while embodying Tyro's core values.

In this position, you will champion both our products and our customers, play a central role in crafting and executing strategies for aggressive growth and enhanced customer relationships. By utilising a segment-based approach, you'll have the autonomy to devise plans that cover the entire customer lifecycle, from initial engagement to upselling, cross-selling, and retention.

Key responsibilities include;

  • Lead annual product marketing and CRM strategies to achieve Tyro targets, overseeing team development and execution.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to inform segmentation, product development, and growth strategies.
  • Define product positioning, messaging, and pricing strategies, in collaboration with other teams.
  • Drive go-to-market strategies for product launches, coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring clear communication within the marketing department.
  • Manage product messaging, collateral updates, and customer communications for seamless launches.
  • Define and act upon metrics influencing end-to-end customer behavior, utilizing various channels and technologies.
  • Support marketing department operations as a member of the marketing leadership team, fostering growth and development within Tyro.

What you will bring:

  • Extensive commercial experience in product/ customer marketing and customer communications, preferably in financial services
  • Strong understanding of business or retail banking products (Deposits, Payments, Loans ).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, influence at all levels, and work within cross-functional teams
  • Sound commercial acumen, including experience with marketing and customer data analysis/reporting, and intermediate proficiency in Martech platforms

Even better if

  • ADMA or similar marketing accreditation
  • Understanding of B2B, SME, or fintech market in Australia
  • Background in a customer champion or experience role
