About the role

We are currently searching for a Cotton Purchasing Coordinator to join our team in Newstead. This is a permanent full time position reporting into our Origination and Grower Services Manager. The role supports the administrative duties of our cotton business and is fundamental to the smooth running and efficiency of the team.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Prepare cotton contracts with a high level of accuracy
  • Input cotton sales contracts into the system
  • Enter bale purchase forms and amendments for purchase contracts
  • Prepare classing and ginning data to send to clients
  • Execute intercompany contract sales splits in a timely manner
  • General reports for management and external parties
  • Responsible for managing the Cotton Administration inbox
  • Management of new account setup for clients
  • Managing client surveys for mid-season reviews
  • Manage data integrity for the Grower Online portal

Essential skills

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • Good organisational skills
  • Ability to communicate well with all staff and clients
  • Ability to work well under pressure

Desired but not essential skills

  • Sound understanding gin/valley delivery points
  • Tertiary qualification in Business or Business Administration desired
