About the Role
As Contracts Manager, you will oversee the development, negotiation, and management of contracts to ensure compliance with legal standards and favorable terms. Identify and mitigate risks, maintain thorough documentation, and collaborate with project teams to meet contractual obligations and project deadlines. Additionally, you will address and resolve disputes, ensuring smooth project execution and safeguarding the contractor's financial and legal interests.
Responsibilities

  • Develop and negotiate contract terms with stakeholders.
  • Draft and review contracts, amendments, and legal documents.
  • Identify and mitigate contractual risks.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards.
  • Oversee contract execution and maintain a centralized contract repository.
  • Monitor contract milestones, deliverables, and deadlines.
  • Manage contract renewals, extensions, and terminations.
  • Handle disputes and claims arising from contracts.
  • Collaborate with procurement to optimize supplier contracts.
  • Prepare reports on contract status, performance, and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate and organized contract records

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil-Electrical Engineering, business, law, contract management, or a related field (Master's degree or legal background is a plus).
  • More than 6 years of experience in contract management or a related role in a big construction or energy company.
  • Strong understanding of contract law and legal terminology.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and tools.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Certification in contract management (e.G., CPCM, CCM) is beneficial
