Commercial Finance Manager/Senior Commercial Analyst - Retail

About Our Client

Our client is a high-performing health, beauty, and wellness manufacturer with a large portfolio of instantly recognizable brands. After a successful launch internationally, the business is now expanding to European markets and seeking for a commercially astute Senior Commercial Analyst to lead the financial and commercial modelling.

Job Description

• Develop and recommend suitable pricing and promotion strategies considering profitability, competitor positioning and customer strategies.
• Develop and maintain financial models (P&
  Ls) for assigned markets/customers, forecasting sales, costs, and profitability.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses to evaluate the feasibility of market entry and expansion plans.
• Monitor and report on key financial metrics to ensure alignment with budget and profitability goals.
• Analyse international market competition, regulatory landscape, and consumer trends to identify growth opportunities and potential challenges.
• Develop customer specific promotional programs covering pricing depth &
  frequency, event-based campaigns, loyalty programs and in-store execution.
• Collaborate with internal and third-party supply partners to establish and maintain smooth product flow and inventory management.
• Adhoc tasks as required.

The Successful Applicant

• At least 4-5 years' experience in a similar role or capacity in a medium to large FMCG organisation
• Tertiary Degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics, Business, or equivalent
• Strong analytical, financial modelling, and project management skills
• CA/CPA qualification
• A proactive self-starter with a mindset of continuous improvement
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate articulately and effectively to finance and non-finance stakeholders
