PositionProfile:
We are seeking toappoint an experienced and enthusiastic candidate to the positionof Clinical Nurse Specialist- Refugee Health. The successfulapplicant will be cognisant of all aspects of managing the clinicalcare of refugee children and their families new to Australia andhave experience in working with culturally and linguisticallydiverse families.

This role isresponsible for the provision of direct clinical services toclients and establishing partnerships with key stakeholders tocoordinate, implement and evaluate effective and efficient refugeehealth programs.

To besuccessful in this position you need to have:

  • Broadnursing experience including primary health care principals andsocial determinant of health.
  • Abilityto work independently and as part of multi-disciplinaryteam.
  • Effective personal,written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well-developed problemsolving and negotiating skills.
  • Currentknowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements in thearea of equal opportunity, disability services and OccupationalSafety &
    health and how this will impact on employment,client management and service delivery.
