Clinical Nurse Specialist - Oncology Ward | Sydney

An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced and passionate Clinical Nurse Specialist to join the Oncology Ward at a private hospital in Sydney. It is a permanent full-time position.
ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will:
Act as a clinical and professional resource within the Oncology team;
Demonstrate broad knowledge and clinical expertise in all facets of patient care;
Contribute to the education of staff at all levels;
Participate in department orientation, in-training, and clinical competency programs;
Make a valuable contribution to the hospital’s contribution to the hospital’s continuous improvement;
processes as a ClinicalNurse Specialist (CNS).
REQUIREMENTS
Current registration with AHPRA;
At least 5 years ofexperience as a Registered Nurse with experience in Haematology/Oncology;
Understanding of scope of practice in line with relevant registration;
Ability to assess, plan, coordinate, and evaluate care delivery needs of patients;
Knowledge of Quality/Continuous Improvement processes;
Flexibility to workacross a rotating roster including morning, afternoon, and night shifts.

REMUNERATION
Onoffer is a base hourly rate ranging from $50.29 + superannuation, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
