Clinical Nurse Consultant - Scenario Coordinator, Iemr Project

Digital Metro North are seeking a Clinical Nurse Consultant - Scenario Coordinator for a fixed term temporary full time engagement, up to May 2027. This role will provide specialised clinical informatics and project management skills and services to support implementation of the ieMR utilising workflow based scenarios. This will prepare staff for the digital transformation across multiple Metro North Health inpatient and outpatient services, including Satellite Hospitals and Facilities.

Digital Metro North (DMN) works collaboratively with clinical leads and end users across Metro North Health to deliver the Digital Metro North Strategy 2018-32. The strategy aims to ultimately deliver an integrated digital hospital and healthcare environment across Metro North by 2032. Over the coming years, significant capital works are being undertaken, including hospital construction and refurbishment and the implementation of the ieMR Advanced solution across all Metro North facilities. Achieving the aims of the strategy requires a dedicated team with the knowledge, determination, and skills to deliver quality results.

Key knowledge and experience

The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Develop effective professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the implementation of digital applications and supporting workflows.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of inpatient and/or outpatient multidisciplinary digital workflows relevant to the acute facility and satellite hospital setting.
• Provide an oversight and work collaboratively with the relevant clinical and business stakeholders to develop integrated digital workflows to facilitate the safe and effective implementation and adoption of digital applications that improve business operations and complement accurate collation of data for reporting and improvement purposes.

About the role

• Reports directly to the Queensland Digital Academy Director / Assistant Nursing Director (ieMR Program, Training Lead).
• Will support staff in relation to DMN project and clinical informatics teams and facility based clinical teams, Metro North Health.
• There are opportunities for coaching, development, and career progression within the broader ieMR Project team.
• Flexible working arrangements such as variable working hours, working from home and flex accrual may be supported.
