Reporting to the President and Councillors, the CEO is responsible for leading initiatives that promote professional development, fostering partnerships with key stakeholders, and advocating for the interests and values of the public sector. Leading a dynamic team of 14 personnel, the CEO ensures that programs and services are effectively delivered and continuously improved. Additionally, the CEO represents IPAA NSW at various forums, building the organisation's profile and influence within the public sector and beyond.

About You

Their extensive experience in public service, or a closely related field, provides a deep understanding of the public sector landscape and the challenges and opportunities that exist. The leadership style of the preferred candidate is inclusive and empowering, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. They are adept at building and maintaining relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior government officials, public servants, and community leaders.
