How will I help?
This role is to lead the technical design, engineering, technology innovation and continuous improvement for the technical capabilities and solutions underpinning the Customer Cortex, Democratisation and Advanced Analytics &
AI Services. As part ofthe Data Engineering Chapter, support the definition and improvement of the craft of engineering and help engineers in the roles sphere of influence grow and mature to their full potential.
Key accountabilities include:

• Accountable for the leadership of technical staff and engineers in Customer Cortex and Advanced Analytics services.
• Accountable for the quality of the technical design, engineering, resilience and performance of the technical solutions and capabilities underpinning Customer Cortex and Advanced Analytics &
  AI services.
• Accountable for ensuring use cases and consumption of services meets OLAs and can scale to meet user and business requirements.
• Accountable for ensuring engineering teams in DSCAA meet all Data Platforms, Technology and Data Engineering Chapter metrics and KPIs.
• Accountable for the compliance of technical solutions underpinning the Customer Cortex and Advanced Analytics &
  AI services to Westpac policy and standards.
• Accountable for ensuring the technical solutions and capabilities underpinning Customer Cortex and Advanced Analytics &
  AI services are robust and resilient.

What do I need?

• Technology solution design
• Cloud based Data, API, real time, ML/AI engineering
• Engineering fundamentals of DevSecOps, CICD, test driven development
• SAFe 6.0 experience
• Engineer team leadership including coaching / mentoring
• LangChain, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), Vector and Graph databases experience a differentiator
