CommAssets crew. You will have responsibility to develop and drive the strategic performance and insights roadmap, have a strategic mindset, impeccable stakeholder management skills, as well as the ability to be a hands-on mentor.

Reporting to the Consumer Finance Chapter Area Lead, this role is pivotal to both the Credit Risk reporting and insights squad as well as being responsible for supporting &
developing credit risk insights analysts/managers.

As a Chapter Lead you will have direct reports to grow and develop a high performing chapter where we deliver great outcomes for our customers and support our people in their development.

As a senior manager of the performance and insights squad you will also play a critical role in helping develop strategic reporting and insights roadmap, including consideration of self-service reporting solutions, reporting tools and software, data requirements, credit risk and pricing strategy attribution, seasonal forecasting, report automation and process efficiency.

Key responsibilities will include

  • Supporting and developing a team of insights analysts/managers by creating a psychologically safe, inclusive, accountable and high-performance culture, which promotes cross-skilling, sharing best practise and a curious mindset

  • Develop strategic reporting and insights roadmap, including consideration of self-service reporting solutions, reporting tools and software, data requirements, credit risk and pricing strategy attribution, seasonal forecasting, report automation and process efficiency

  • Implementing and monitor technologies, techniques and processes for capturing business intelligence, adjusting business processes both internally and cross-organisationally

  • Continuously improving the customer experience by applying advanced analytics skills and data analysis techniques to identify trends, patterns and insights

  • Work closely with cross functional teams, including other credit risk squads, product, finance, marketing, compliance and technology to ensure data analytics solutions align with business goals

  • Responsible for proactively managing risks including setting and reviewing Key Risk Indicators, establish strong data governance standards and processes, ensure data is accurate and reliable, implement robust change governance frameworks and identification and escalation of issues

We want to hear from you if you have

  • Proven track record of coaching and developing teams to uplift capability

  • Advanced ability to drive outcomes and develop and execute on a roadmap of initiatives

  • Advance reporting and insights capabilities, including on tools experience in coding (SQL, Python), reporting tools (Tableau) &
    excel

  • Advanced communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, including the ability to progress multiple initiatives concurrently

  • Strong planning and time management skills with the ability to deal with conflicting priorities and upcoming due dates

  • Banking industry experience highly regarded but not essential

  • Tertiary qualification in an Analytics/Data Science/Engineering/Statistics Degree preferred
