Are you an experienced Early Education leader or an operational leader in health, aged care or primary education looking for a change?

We have a great opportunity to use your well-honed people and management skills to lead and inspire our team of educators who provide high quality kindergarten and early education and care services to the Yea community.

As our Centre Director, a key focus will be to ensure a creative, engaging and professional team environment that enables a fun, safe and positive workplace. You will be responsible for daily management overseeing the standard operations of the service consisting of 3 rooms including a 3 &
4-year-old kinder program.

You will be well supported by our Early Learning leadership team to collaborate on new and innovate ideas and structures to support the Centre and team.

Create meaningful relationships with your team of educators, children, families and the Yea community.

A leadership team that will support you and is open to doing new things in new ways including some flexibility in working hours between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Friday.

Regular meetings with peers across the organisation to share ideas, learn from one another, hear about operational updates, professional development and lean on a support network when required.

About you

You have experience leading an early education and care service or have great operational management skills and willing to undertake a minimum of Certificate III in Early Childhood Education.

Building a strong, cohesive team is second nature to you and you can leverage this to engage in reflective conversations with your team around their growth and development.

To be successful, you will have:

  • Operational skills and experience required to lead an early education and care service
  • Relevant approved qualifications or willingness to undertake a Certificate III in early childhood education
  • A proven track record in people leadership and change management
  • Authorised Supervisor approval, or the ability to gain approval
  • Willingness to undertake first aid, CPR and child protection training
