About this Opportunity

The Campaign Director works within the Office of Director-General to develop, implement and oversee the day one opening campaign for both the Metro Tunnel Project (MTP) and West Gate Tunnel (WGT). They will provide leadership, advice and support on marketing, branding and promotion as part of the opening campaign for these two projects within the Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA).

Reporting to the Executive Director, Communications and Engagement, with a reporting relationship into the Director, Brand, Design and Marketing, the Campaign Director is responsible for overseeing the implementation of a multi-channel campaign to build awareness that the Metro Tunnel and West Gate Tunnel are opening as part of Victoria's Big Build (VBB);
educate Victorians on what the opening of the tunnels means for their travel and how it will benefit them;
and support passengers and motorists to navigate the new transport network from day one with confidence.

The campaign will aim to make Victorians feel excited about the opening of the Metro Tunnel and West Gate Tunnel and confident about how they will use the new transport network it creates. The campaign is one component of an extensive multi-channel communications and engagement strategy that will be implemented in 6-12 months prior to both projects opening. These strategies will work from the framework of awareness, education, enable and action.

The position will oversee the development and production of the campaign creative for both projects as part of the overarching campaign. The role will work closely with Communications Directors and teams in MTP and WGT, to ensure campaign elements are integrated across all customer touchpoints.
