Job Description

We're looking for an experienced and creatively driven Business Director to join our amazing team based here in Pyrmont. This is an exciting role which will be working on one of Leo Burnett's biggest and most creatively ambitious clients.

Working closely with the Chief Client Officer and Group Business Director, the Business Director is one of the key agency contacts between Leo Burnett and the client. This role will play an instrumental role in both driving the creative and strategic direction for the brand, while also collaborating with the wider team to ensure the effective delivery of award worthy work.

Day to day in this role, you'll get to:

  • Partner and build strong relationships with your key stakeholders to really understand their business goals (and competitors).

  • Guiding the creative and strategic direction of the client's business and brand - having a point of view and articulating this effectively.

  • Contributing, supporting and evaluating creative work - continuing to drive and enhance the level of craft produced.

  • Working closely within an Agency Village to ensure all agency partners are working collaboratively and efficiently to ensure creative work is delivered and implemented effectively.

  • Collaborating with the executive team on new business prospects/opportunities.

  • Foster the growth and development of the junior members of the team.

  • Work side by side with some of the finest in the business, a successful and welcoming team.

Qualifications

The person we're looking for has:

  • 5+ years' experience in Account Management, preferably within an advertising communications agency environment.

  • Excellent stakeholder management techniques - you have the prior knowledge and experience to guide senior stakeholders and are happy to go the extra mile for your clients.

  • Confident and influential - you enjoy bringing your strong strategic and creative point of view to the table.

  • You genuinely love effective creative and want to sell in the greatest and boldest work.

  • Superb organisational techniques, you enjoy working in a tight-knit, highly engaged team.

This role is full-time/part-time negotiable.
